Privacy policy

Data controller

Data collected

We only collect the information you enter in our forms:

  • Assessment or contact request: name, company, phone, email, type of site, service needed and message.
  • Job application (French-language page): name, phone, email, region, position sought, experience, message and CV.

Only with your consent, the site measures its audience with Google Analytics (see “Audience measurement”). It uses no advertising cookies.

Purposes

  • Answering your request, carrying out an assessment or preparing a commercial proposal.
  • Reviewing your application and contacting you for an interview.

Your data is neither sold nor transferred, and is not used for any marketing without your consent.

Recipients

The information is restricted to the DIS departments that need it: management, sales, human resources. Mandatory fields are those required to process your request.

Hosting and transfer outside Senegal

The forms on this site are received and stored by our hosting provider, Netlify, Inc., in the United States, then forwarded by email to our departments in Dakar. Netlify acts on our behalf and automatically filters unwanted submissions.

This transfer is based on your express consent, given by ticking the box on each form, in accordance with Article 50 of Law no. 2008-12. If you do not wish to consent, you can reach us by phone on +221 33 825 58 34 or by email.

Audience measurement (Google Analytics)

If you accept it in the banner shown on your first visit, we measure the site's audience with Google Analytics 4, a service of Google Ireland Limited and Google LLC. The following are collected: the pages viewed, the source of the visit (search engine, link, advertisement), the type of device and browser, the approximate city or country, and a few actions (sending a form, clicking on a phone number or an email address, completing the online assessment). Google Analytics 4 does not record your IP address.

This data is used only for statistics, to improve the site and measure the effectiveness of our communication. It is kept for 14 months at most and may be processed by Google in the United States: this transfer is based on your consent, in accordance with Article 50 of Law no. 2008-12.

Google Analytics places two cookies, _ga and _ga_…, which last 13 months. If you decline, nothing is loaded. You can change your mind at any time with the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page; your choice is kept in your browser for 13 months.

Retention periods

  • Commercial requests: twelve months after the last exchange.
  • Job applications: twelve months at most, or until you ask for deletion.
  • Audience statistics (Google Analytics): fourteen months at most.

Your rights

In accordance with Law no. 2008-12 of 25 January 2008 on the protection of personal data, you have the right to access, rectify, object to and delete your data. To exercise these rights, write to admin@dis-sn.com stating your request.

You may also contact the Commission de Protection des Données Personnelles (CDP), the Senegalese data protection authority.

Security

The site is served exclusively over HTTPS. Access to requests and applications is restricted to authorised DIS staff.
